Babysitting, Bulls, Bracelets, and Bromances.

Daniel and I have had a whirlwind of a week. Along with school and work, we babysat three kids for the week while their parents were on vacation.

Thanks to Idaho Central Credit Union, we got free tickets to the rodeo. Daniel had never been, and I hadn't been since I was a little girl. Daniel loved watching the bulls, and I've been waiting for an occasion to wear my cowgirl boots. We were both pretty happy!

While babysitting, we learned how to make survival bracelets. These fun bracelets are made from parachute rope. The bracelets become several feet of rope once undone, thus the name survival bracelet. I have convinced Daniel that we always have to wear them, because they just might save our lives one day!

I'm completely convinced that Daniel and I are the luckiest newlyweds in the world, because we have the best ward. Our ward is filled with newlyweds just like us. We love getting together with the whole gang. We went miniature with the coolest couples on Friday followed by playing some games. We're so thankful for the lifelong friends we've been able to make here at Maple West!

Within our group of friends, Daniel has developed what I refer to as a "bromance". We often hang out with our neighbors Dallan and Corin Parker. Corin and I love chit-chatting about our wifely duties, but Dallan and Daniel have really formed a bond. We love joking about it, but honestly, we love having such good friends! The Parker's also just purchased a motorcycle, and we've loved enjoying the beautiful weather on our bikes together.
