Island Getaway...

All year long, Daniel and I have been dreaming of a beautiful island getaway. A place where we can forget our busy lives and enjoy quality time basking in the sunshine. We were able to go to the our favorite island getaway a couple weeks ago, Island Park.

We spent nearly a week lounging about in this cozy cabin.

Along with Golden Oreos and Scrabble, the movie Cars was a constant in the cabin.

When we did leave the cabin, we spent most of our time around the water. We sunbathed at the beach,

sat on a long in the lake,

practiced our swimming skills in preparation for the upcoming Olympics,

and tried the Air Chair for the first time.

One of the many highlights of our Island vacation was piling the entire family into our car to go visit Quake Lake and West Yellowstone.

While we were hiking at Quake Lake, we saw FOUR Sasquatches walking up the trail! Oh, wait, it was just us...

Daniel wasn't able to stay the entire week at the Island getaway due to work, but luckily I had the company of my B.F.F., Jessica.

The final day of our vacay was spent celebrating the day of my birth. I was spoiled by so many friends and family! I'm pretty sure I'm the luckiest 22 year old in the whole wide world!
