Family is Forever.

When I was in high school, my parents would constantly tell me that my friends will come and go, but my family is forever. I always brushed off this wise saying throughout my teenage years, because my friends seemed to be my entire world. I couldn't imagine life really going on without my friends by my side. I mean, let's be honest, I have some pretty awesome friends. 
It's funny to realize how quickly my views have changed on that line my parents said over and over. Now, my family members are my closest friends, and I would prefer to hang out with them any day of the week. I have certainly had friends come and go throughout my life, but my family really has always been there and always will be there.

So, on that note, I got spend a girl's weekend in Salt Lake City with my two favorite ladies. We really enjoyed shopping at the new City Creek Mall, which conveniently had a Cheesecake Factory inside. I love spending time with my best friends, my mom and sisters.

The following weekend, we were able to go on another mini vacation. Daniel's tennis team made it to districts in Boise, which just so happens to be real close to my sister and her family. I spent hours on end watching my boy play tennis, eating at lots of new restaurants, visiting the aquarium, and sewing new pillows (and by sewing new pillows, I mean watching my sister sew me new pillows). We are so blessed to have such fun families, that are also such fun friends! I'm so glad families are forever friends!
