Seven Months.

The sun was barely peaking through our bedrooms blinds when I sat up in bed, shaking Daniel awake, whispering, "Let's go wake her up!"

It was Ellisyn's first Easter, and I'm pretty sure I was the most excited. I couldn't wait to wake her up and show her what the Easter bunny brought her for her first Easter at just seven months old. E.'s basket was filled with practical things fit for our growing babe; a teether, first foods little puffs, and a formula tupperware.

Later, we headed to church in our new Easter dresses to remember and celebrate the true meaning of Easter. I hope Ellisyn knows of her parents testimonies of our Savior, Jesus Christ, and how unbelievably grateful we are for the atonement. We know that because of Him we get to be together as a family forever, and nothing, absolutely nothing, is more precious than that.

Easter dinner was spent at Grandma and Grandpa Sargent's house with the whole family. Grandma and Grandpa spoiled Ellisyn, per usual. She got more puffs, sandals, and a new princess book followed by an Easter egg hunt in the backyard. It was the perfect ending to a perfect day.

Despite my requests, Ellisyn continues to grow up right before our eyes. She started trying even more new foods, and loves most of them except for green beans. I'm pretty sure she never wants those again. E. still sleeps through the night with three naps throughout the day. One of her most favorite things is other kids, especially her cousins. The Adamson's moved back to Pocatello just prior to Ellisyn's seven month mark, and we have all loved having them around. Ellisyn loves to watch Paxton and Colton play, and she will only giggle for Paxton when he growls at her! We've also ventured to the public library for story time. Ellisyn could not get enough of those nursery rhymes!

Spring has slowly been making its way to Idaho, and we couldn't be more thrilled! Spring can only mean a few things here at the Spicer's; painted toe nails,  Ross Park Drive In, days at the park, and watching dad play tennis!

I could not have wished for a happier, easier baby than Miss Ellisyn Joy. She is the light of our lives and we love her so much!
