Six Months.

Half a year. My baby is half a year. At half a year, Ellisyn weighed in at fourteen pound nine ounces and she was only going up from there! Six months brought so many new adventures for Miss Ellisyn and for mom and dad.

Sitting up, eating solid foods, and holding her own sippy cup were just a few of Ellisyn's projects during her sixth month of life. She filled our cameras and our hearts with each new thing that she did, and just when we think it's impossible to love her more, we do.

Ellisyn even honored her namesake by "riding" a 5k walk for dementia research. She may have slept the entire walk while Grandpa Sargent pushed her, but I'm sure she'll be proud to know that she did a 5k before she could even walk!

Spring Break came and went as we enjoyed our sweet baby E. We decided to go on our first big road trip to Arizona for Ellisyn's cousin's baptism and her newest cousin's baby blessing. Ellisyn was a champion traveler, as she hardly made a peep during the fourteen hour drive with a quick stop at Grandpa Great's house in St. George. We spent the week shopping, basking by the pool, and eating lots of great food, and our sixth month old girl loved every minute!

Ellisyn's half birthday was celebrated along with our three year anniversary. It's almost hard to believe that the last time we took our anniversary photos we were announcing a pregnancy, and this year we have a beautiful baby girl to add to the picture! We spent the day as a family in Idaho Falls by going on a bike ride, shopping, and going out to dinner.

Ellisyn is not only the best addition to our anniversary picture, but she's the best addition to our family and our lives. We love her so much!
