Five Months.

Ellisyn made for our tiniest, yet cutest, Valentine this year. Every holiday spent with Ellisyn is that much more exciting, and Valentine's day was no exception. She hit the five month mark just days before the day of love as well as several other fun milestones.

We celebrated our first Valentine's as Mom and Dad by going to dinner at Winger's with friends. It was so similar to every Valentine's date before it, but it was still so perfect. Especially since we had our newest addition in toe. Ellisyn seemed to enjoy herself as she slept through the entire celebration of love. She's a real party animal, if you know what I mean.

Ellisyn has continued to be the happiest twelve pound piece of our lives. Her open mouth smile is incredibly contagious. Everyone is constantly commenting on how she is always so happy. If anyone talks or even looks Ellisyn's way she'll recuperate it with the most adorable grin.

Ellisyn, once again, had a few fun firsts in her fifth month of life. She attended her very first Idaho State basketball game, spent the day with cousin Kyle, and met some of her mom's favorite friends.

I have found, as most mother's do, that nothing is a sweet as a sleeping babe. This is certainly the case with Miss Ellisyn as she melts your heart during her precious naps, and fills your heart with joy as she sleeps through the night on a regular basis now a days.

In an effort to keep Ellisyn content and sleeping well, we've began giving her rice cereal in the morning and at night, along with a few other taste tests every once in awhile!

Every little thing is exciting when you do it through the eyes of a five month old. Ellisyn has started to lock her legs, which meant that we had to get out her jumper. She doesn't really jump in it yet, but apparently hanging there is just as amusing.

On March 2nd, Ellisyn intentionally rolled over for the first time at Grandma and Grandpa Sargent's house. The whole family was there for Sunday dinner, and everyone cheered and celebrated with her as she repeatedly used all her strength to travel from her stomach to her back. I can confidently say that Ellisyn has so many people that love her unconditionally. I mean she had a room full of seven adults marveling at her ability to roll over. We cannot get enough of this blue-eyed babe, and we can't wait to see what she'll do next!
