#1 Wife Award

My New Year's resolution was to have
dinner ready every night for me and my sweet
hubsters after our long days of work and school.
I've been doing a great job with this goal.
Thanks to Pinterest.
So far, I have made some great recipes,
and accomplished dinner every day.
Except today.
As of this morning, the dinner menu was
going to be Zesty Italian Crock Pot Chicken.
The recipe looked delicious and easy.
Just the way I like them.
One would assume that the easiest part
would be turning on the crock pot before
leaving for the day.
Nope.
I neglected to press start on the slow cooker
filled with yummy ingredients.
FAIL.

On the bright side,
Daniel took me to Winger's for dinner tonight.
Maybe I should mess up dinner more often....

For those of you who think you can handle it,
here's the recipe that I have
yet to successfully produce.

Zesty Italian Crock Pot Chicken
Ingredients:

2-4 frozen boneless skinless chicken breasts
1 pkg. (8 oz.) cream cheese (let sit out to soften)
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 pkg. italian dressing seasoning (the dried kind in the packet)
rice or noodles

Stir the cream cheese, cream of chicken, and seasoning together in the crock pot. Put the frozen chicken in and cover with the mix. Cook on high 4-6 hours or until the chicken is cooked and fall-apart-tender. Pour over cooked rice or noodles.

  1. Hi Courtney and Daniel, We hope you are not offended at our reading your blog. We really enjoy your sweet spirits. Question about your recipe: do you add a can of water or milk to the cream of chicken soup? Let us know. The recipe looks delicious. Love, Geri and Bob gebobri@frontier.com

  2. Hello! We're so happy you read and enjoy our blog. You can add a 1/2 cup milk to make it a little creamier. I think that's what I'll do next time! Hope everything is going well! Love you!
