Stake Conference.

This weekend was stake conference.
We had a special guest come to speak to us.
Elder Dallin H. Oaks.
We went to the adult meeting last night
with a couple of our friends.
The meeting was delightful,
and the speakers made it edifying.
Elder Oaks was a pleasure.
He, in fact, has the most adorable laugh.
When he laughs, his whole body laughs with him.
Along with everyone around.
There is something else special about Elder Oaks.
He is my grandpa's cousin.
After the meeting, we braved the crowd
to go shake hands with the apostle.
I introduced myself.
Elder Oaks lit up with excitement and said,
"WE'RE COUSINS!"
Which was followed by a big hug.
It was wonderfully exciting to be in
attendance of both meetings.
I think it wore one of us out though...
