I always approach a new year, a new beginning, with a tender heart.
January first always makes my mind reflect on the past 365 days and the memorable moments that filled the year of 2012 with wonderful fun, sparkling smiles, beautiful laughter, and endless love.
The memories of the past year help me realize all of my many blessings and fill my heart with gratefulness for the amazing life I have with the people I adore most.
So, here are a few of the shining moments from 2012...
The Spicer family expanded by two with the birth of a new niece and nephew.
Daniel and I conquered one year of marriage.
Summer was gladly welcomed after a long semester at Idaho State.
I sadly spent my last days as an assistant teacher for the After School Program.
Experienced my first R.V. trip.
Applauded as my brother took large, successful strides across the stage of Law School graduation.
Jessica followed in the footsteps of the Sargent's before her, and graduated as a Highland Ram.
Daniel and I spent ten days frolicking in the streets of Paris.
Reunited with the Sargent bunch in Island Park.
I reached the age of twenty-two.
Daniel played many a tennis tournaments.
Took golf lessons together.
Moved to a new apartment.
Welcomed back the orange and black with another semester of school.
Became Batman on Halloween.
Daniel helped coach the J.V. Girls' Basketball team at Poky (no, I still will not cheer for Poky).
Celebrated twenty-four years of life for the D-Spice.
Remembered what we were thankful for in Texas.
Colton made us Aunt Courtney and Uncle Daniel one more time.
Jesus was the reason for the Christmas season.
And, last but not least, we welcomed 2013 with a kiss on an air mattress in Middleton, Idaho.
I'm one lucky lady, and I can't believe it's
another year over, and a new one just begun.
Let's hope it's a good one!!
