Brugge, Belgium was the destination for day seven. This town, like Gent, also avoided the destruction of the Germans during World War II. It, along with most of the towns we visited in Belgium, is exactly what you picture Europe to be and look like. I'm almost positive that every town we went to in Europe had a river running right through the middle of it, and Brugge was no different. We went on the most adorable little boat ride through Brugge. We were also able to meet up with one of John's co-worker and his wife that work at the On Semiconductor plant in Belgium. He and his wife were actually the ideal tour guides! It was so fun to get to know them and their family.
Later that evening we went on a horse and buggy ride through another town nearby. After traveling and rushing around for the past seven days, it was so relaxing go for a calm ride to enjoy the scenery.
